The Mount Arrowsmith Biosphere Region is one of 19 UNESCO-designated biosphere regions in Canada. We are a community based organization dedicated to inspiring a positive future for all living species through education, facilitating collaboration, coordinating research, and supporting environmental, social, cultural, and economic sustainability.

We work closely with the school district, municipal governments, First Nation governments and community groups. Our work is guided by a Roundtable www.mabr.ca/roundtable and supported by hundreds of local volunteers.
